2019 Monterey County Bike Walk Challenge

May is Bike Month in Monterey County and a perfect time to give the car a rest and take some trips by bike or foot.  Bike and walk to work, school, shopping and for fun this May and save money, get fit and win prizes!

Join us in the 2nd annual Bike Walk Challenge May 1 – May 31 and show your co-workers, classmates and community what you can do!

The Bike Walk Challenge is an activity of the Go831 program provided through the Transportation Agency for Monterey County.  Go831 is a free benefit for commuters and employers powered by advanced technology that helps commuters find money-saving, stress-reducing alternatives to driving alone, and helps employers establish or improve smart commute programs. Participants can sign up for the challenge as individuals or as a team.

The top three winners in the individual and employer categories will be announced in June.  Winners are the participants who took the greatest number of walking and bicycling trips, and employers whose employees had the greatest number of combine trips.
